Richard Paul Bowden, 2 1/2 , died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Bowden of 118 Palmetto avenue. He is survived by his parents, one brother and four sisters; Danley Cleek with the Navy in the South Pacific, Jean Cleek, Blacksburg; Betty Bowden, Marilyn Bowden and Florence Bowden, all at home. He is also survived by a grandmothers, Mrs. Virda Archer of Ottumwa. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Johnson funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. John Estes, pastor of the First Baptist church. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
