Miss Maude McCormick, 64, died at her home, 303 Chester avenue at 5:25 p.m. Sunday. She was the daughter of Morrison and Caroline McCormick and was born in Davis County July 22, 1878. She had been a resident of Ottumwa for 24 years. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Irene Cox, Sheffield, Illinois and two brothers, John McCormick, Sheffield and Jessie L. McCormick, Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents and a half-sister, Sadie McGee Klinginsmith.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Johnson funeral chapel conducted by the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be in Danville cemetery in Davis county.
