Miss Agnes Riley, 72, died at 8:40 p.m. Friday at the home of her sister, Mrs. J.H. Moll of Ottumwa, route 5. She was born in Wapello county September 29, 1870, the daughter of Michael and Mary Riley, and had lived in this county her entire life. She is survived by one brother and four sisters. Mrs. Moll, Miss Katherine Riley, Mrs. C.F. Harter, Mrs. John Carrow and Michael Riley, all of Ottumwa. She is also survived by five nephews and seven nieces and was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. She was a member of St. Mary’ Catholic church and of the Altar and Rosary society of the church. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday from the St. Mary’s church with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. J.M. Walsh V.F. celebrant of the requiem high mass. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. The body will be taken from the Lester Jay funeral home this evening to the home of Mrs. Moll on route 5. Members of St. Mary’s parish will meet there at 8 p.m. Sunday to recite the rosary. The pallbearers will be her nephews, Charles McGowan, Thomas Carson, Marcus Mill, Riley Moll, John Moll and Daniel Moll.
