Carl E. Stansberry, 59, of 411 south Iowa Avenue, died at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday at his home. He moved from Moulton of Ottumwa six months ago and had been working at the Ottumwa Iron works. He was the son of Grand and Rebecca Stansberry and was born January 14, 1884 at Dean. Survivors include his wife, Charity, of Moulton, and five sons, Gerald, Fresno, California, Eugene and Sperry, both of Ottumwa, Lloyd, Centerville and Robert, Moulton; tow daughters, Mrs. Arzella Seiberts, Moulton, and Miss Mary Stansberry, Moulton; tree brother, Charles and William, Moulton, and Donald, Lincoln, Nebraska and three sisters, Mrs. Grace Morrow, Dean, Mrs. Stella Morrow, Laclede, Moulton and Mrs. Ella Davis, Milan, Missouri. A son Cleo preceded him in death in 1939. The body is at the Johnson funeral chapel where it will remain until 10 a.m. Thursday, after which if will be taken to Moulton for funeral services and burial Saturday.
