Harry C. Edison, 50, native of Oskaloosa, died Tuesday at 1:30 a.m. in a Sioux City hospital. The body will arrive in Ottumwa tonight and will be taken to the Johnson funeral chapel where services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday conducted by the Rev. C.R. Reed of the Willard Street Methodist church. Burial will be in McIntire cemetery. He was born in Oskaloosa, August 29, 1892, but had lived in Sioux City for the last 30 years. Surviving are his wife, Mary Caroline; two sons, Earl L. Edison in the Navy, and Harold E. Edison, Omaha, Nebraska; two brothers, Frank Edison, Wichita Kansas, and Willard Edison, Sioux Falls, S.D. and two sisters, Miss Ora Edison, Ottumwa, and Mrs. Ruth Edison, San Francisco, California.
