Mrs. Joseph Hanrahan, 72, of 118 South Cooper street and a resident of Ottumwa since she was a small child, died at 9:25 a.m. today at the St. Joseph hospital. She was born January 9, 1871, in Davis county. She is survived by her husband and the following five daughters and two sons; Bernard Hanrahan, Walter E. Walker, Miss Stella Walker, Mrs. C.A. Rhoads, Mrs. John Dimmick and Mrs. Mildred Seizeinski, all of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Vera Reynolds of Denver. She is also survived by one brother Duncan smith of Lincoln, Nebraska and by one sister, Mrs. James Vanna of Chicago, and by 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. The body was taken to the Vaughan funeral chapel where it will remain pending completion of funeral arrangements. Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph Hanrahan, who died Thursday morning at the St. Joseph hospital, will be held Saturday morning, at 8:30 a.m. from the Vaughan funeral chapel and at 9 o’clock from the Sacred Heart Catholic church. The Rev. J. H. Courtney will be the celebrant of a requiem high mass and burial will be in in Memorial Lawn cemetery. Members of the Altar and Rosary society will meet with the members of Sacred Heart parish at 8 o’clock tonight in the Vaughan funeral chapel to recite the rosary.
