C. Howard Bragg, 27, died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the home of his parents. Mr. and Mrs. P.Q. Bragg, 1201 East Second street. He was born March 21, 1915, in Schuyler county, Missouri, the son of Pearl and Laurenda, Bragg. He attended grade schools here and was graduated from the Ottumwa high school in 1934. He was married to Lucille Kaska September 9, 1939, in Des Moines. Before going to Washington D.C. as a government employee, he was employed by the Iowa Southern Utilities Co. He then went to work for the Colonial Baking Co. and prior to his illness, was employed by the Pinkerton Tobacco Co. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucille Bragg; his parents and one sister, Ruth Bragg, all of Ottumwa. He is also survived by his grandmother, Mrs. J.F. Bragg of Gibbs, Missouri. The body will be taken from the Carroll Reece funeral home at 7 p.m. today. The Holy Name society of the Sacred Heart church will meet at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Bragg home to recite the rosary. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the residence at 9:30 a.m. from the Sacred Heart church. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
