Mrs. John M. Strobel, 94, former Ottumwan died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.O. Pauley in Evanston, Illinois, Saturday evening. She was born in Rockford, Illinois, May 18, 1848, and is survived by her daughter. Mrs. Pauley; two granddaughters and one grandson. She was the widow of the late Ottumwa tailor and had lived on East Second street, here until about 15 years ago. The body will arrive in Ottumwa late Tuesday and will be taken to the Lester Jay funeral where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in charge of the Rev. J.B. Johnson, pastor of the Wesley Methodist church. Interment will be in the Ottumwa cemetery.
