Martin O. Albertson, 71, of 739 West Mechanic street, died at 2:50 p. m. today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Rose Springer of 1715 Milwaukee street. He was the son of Martin and Cynthia Albertson and was born February 19, 1872 in Ottumwa and spent his entire life here. He is survived by one son and three daughters, Mrs. Springer, Mrs. Mary White, and Mrs. Esther Ruckman and Clarence Albertson all of Ottumwa. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two brothers, Ace Albertson and Jim Albertson both of Ottumwa, and by one sister, Mrs. Elaine Matlick of Denver. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Ida Albertson who died April 4, 1932 and by two sons and one daughter.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Johnson funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. A.D. McClure and burial will be in Shaul cemetery. The casket will be taken to Mrs. Springer's home on Milwaukee street this evening and returned to the chapel Friday morning. His nephews will serve as pallbearers.
