Mrs. Mary E. Troy, 77, died at 1 a.m. today at the home of her brother, John Weeks, Hedrick route 2. She was the daughter of Martin and Virginia Weeks and was born May 12, 1865 at Mackinaw, Illinois. She had been a resident of Wapello county for 30 years and prior to moving to the Hedrick community nine years ago. She was married November 18, 1903, at Pekin, Illinois to Thomas Troy who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Catholic church at Peoria, Illinois, and is survived by two other brothers, Henry Weeks and Homer Weeks, both of route 2, Hedrick, and several nieces and nephews. The body is at the Johnson funeral chapel pending completion of funeral arrangements.
