John O. Kridelbaugh, 70, resident of Ottumwa for 16 years, died at 8:25 a.m. Friday at his home, 319 Church street. He was the son of Franklin and Josephine Kridelbaugh and was born September 17, 1872, at Joplin, Missouri. He came to Iowa when a child and settled in Monroe county. Survivors include his wife, Myrtle; two sons, Alfred and Vern both of Ottumwa; three daughters, Mrs. Sadie Evans, Mrs. Beulah Rush and Mrs. Aletha Ruby, all of Ottumwa; a brother Len Kridelbaugh of Pueblo, Colorado; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Johnson funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
