Norman Alonzo Wicks, 80, 131 South Schuyler street, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Rest Haven home at 823 Pershing avenue after being ill a year. He was born in Davenport October 27, 1862, and had lived there all his life until coming to Ottumwa 10 years ago. His wife Ida, preceded him in death. He is survived by a son, Norman L. Wicks of San Diego, California; a brother Judson Wicks, of Minneapolis, and three nieces in Davenport. The body was to be taken from the Carroll Reece funeral home in Davenport today for funeral services and burial.
