Mrs. Margaret McCarney, 65, former Ottumwan, died January 17, in Chicago. The body is being brought to Ottumwa Thursday and will be taken to the Moroney funeral home and burial services will be held Friday morning in Calvary cemetery. Her husband and one son preceded her in death and she is survived by the following children; Tom McCarney and John McCarney of Chicago; Private Charles McCarney, stationed at Salem Kansas; Marg Marguerite and Catherine McCarney all of Chicago. Two grandchildren also survive. Mrs. McCarney was a member of St. Patrick's church here.
