James Joseph Cortum, 2-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Cortum of Hedrick route 2, died at 6 p.m. Sunday at the St. Joseph hospital. He is survived by his parents and three brothers, Arthur Cortum, Melvin Cortum and Calvin Cortum. He is also survived by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Orfield of Burlington. The following great grandparents also survive; Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Orfield, Decatur, Iowa and George Rogers, Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the Johnson funeral home in charge of the Rev. Richard Paul Graebel D.D.
