Mrs. H.C. Williams Dies At Age Of 76
Mrs. Emma A. Williams 76, resident of Ottumwa for many years, died suddenly at 7:45 a.m. today at her home, 414 North Benton street. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.L. King and was born January 20, 1866 at Pella. She was married to Henry C. Williams October 20, 1886, in Ottumwa and had spent her entire married life here. She was a member of the First Methodist church. Survivors include the following sons and daughters; Margaret Williams, Francis H. Williams, Emma K. Williams and Edward O. Williams, all of Ottumwa, Mrs. E.J. Simons, Spokane, Washington and Mrs. T.M. Jolley, Oskaloosa. She was preceded in death by four children. The body was removed to the Lester Jay funeral home awaiting completion of arrangements.
Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Williams who died early today at her home, 414 North Benton street, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the residence.
