Walter T. Hall, 34, died at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Ottumwa hospital. He was born in Marion county December 1, 1898, and had lived in Ottumwa for the past 20 years, during which time he had been employed by the John Morrell & Co. He was a member of the Ottumwa lodge of Eagles. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Opal Hall, two sons Walter Hall Jr. and Gene Hall both of Los Angeles, and one daughter , Rita Hall at home. He is also survived by his father, John Hall of Williamson ; a brother, Robert Hall of Dallas, Iowa, and one sister, Mrs. Sadie Youst of Knoxville. The body is at the Johnson funeral home pending the completion of funeral arrangements.
Funeral services for Walter T. Hall, 509 East Williams street, who died late Wednesday, will be held at the residence at 1 p.m. Monday at 1:30 in the First Church of the Open Bible, conducted by the Rev. L.E. Welshons. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery. The casket will be taken from the Johnson funeral chapel to the residence at 9 a.m. Sunday.
