Mrs. Eliza Ann Thompson, 85, died at her home. 402 North Milner street in 5:15 a.m. today. She was the daughter of Dwight and Sarah Bennett and was born in Richland township, May 15, 1857. She had been a resident of Ottumwa for 58 years. She was married to George W. Thompson, August 9, 1876. he preceded her in death 1934. She was a charter member of the Willard Street Methodist church and a member of Woodbine camp No 1014, Royal Neighbors. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Berth Ecton of Ottumwa, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Johnson funeral chapel conducted by the Rev. C.R. Reed of the Willard Street Methodist church. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
