Henry M. Spilman 39, died at 12:15 a.m. today at his home 901 Julian street. He was born February 28, 1903 in Canton, Mississippi, the son of Harvey and Ella Spilman. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Violette Spilman and two children, Albert Spilman and Geneva Spilman, both at home. He is also survived by one brother, Frank Spilman of Mission, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Willard Street Methodist church in charge of the Rev. C.R. Reed. Burial will be in McCormick's cemetery. The body will remain at the Lester Jay funeral home until time for the service.
