Martha Ellen Mills, died at noon today at the home of her sister, Mrs. Tom Reed of 332 East Second street. She had made her home with her sisters here since 1935. She was born in Sheffield, Illinois, the daughter of Edward and Mary Mills and is survived by one other sister, Mrs. William Haines of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She is also survived by one niece, Mrs. Grace Mattausch of Texarkana, Texas, and by two nephews, Fred Lorenz of Rock Island, Illinois and Maurice Haines of Ft. Wayne. The body has been removed to the Carroll Reece funeral home pending the completion of funeral arrangements.
Funeral services for Martha Ellen Mills, who died Monday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Tom Reed, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Carroll Reece funeral home. The services will be in charge of the Rt. Rev, Msgr. J.M. Walsh V.F. and burial will be in the Eldon cemetery. The casket will be closed at the opening of the service.
