Blanche Mildred Hinds, 35, of Ottumwa route 2, died at 12:20 p.m. Monday at the St. Joseph hospital where she was a medical patient. The daughter of William and Lillie May Hinds, she was born near Buda, Illinois, November 19, 1906. She had been a resident of Wapello county for 31 years. She was a member of the royal Neighbors of America. Survivors include three brothers, Orville Hinds, Los Angeles, California, Orin Hinds, Bradford, Illinois, and John Hinds, Neponset, Illinois; a sister Mrs. Everett Alfred, Ottumwa; three aunts and three uncles, Mr. and Mrs. John Mielky, Ottumwa, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Mielkey,* Bradford, Illinois, and Mr. and Mrs. Roberts Hinds, Chillicothe, Illinois and two nieces and three nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Johnson funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. Harold Roberts of the First Christian church. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery. *Mielky is spelled two ways in the obits.
