Mrs. Gertrude Reynolds Pease 48, formerly of Ottumwa died at Davenport this morning. Survivors include a son, Paul Payne, Ottumwa; her parents, J.W. Reynolds and Mrs. Minnie McMurray, both of Ottumwa; three brothers, Fred and Joe Reynolds, both of Ottumwa, and James Jr. of Davenport; and five sisters Mrs. Goldie Hendricks, Mrs. Gladys Swanson, and Mrs. Lelia Young, all of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Hazel Thomasen and Mrs. Margaret Munday, both of Davenport. The body is being brought to the Johnson funeral chapel here pending funeral arrangements.
Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude Pease, who died at Davenport Wednesday morning, will be held from Johnson's funeral chapel Friday at 3:30 p.m. conducted by the Rev. L.E. Welshons of the First Church of the Open Bible. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery. In addition to surviors already announced she is survived by one granddaughter, Beverly Jo Anne Payne of Ottumwa. Pallbearers will be brothers-in-law.
