Mrs. Bertha Winblade, 56, wife of Carl Winblade, died at her home, 519 West Finley avenue at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday. She was the daughter of Hyman and Maria Osborn and was born at Burlington August 12, 1886. She was a resident of Ottumwa for 14 years Besides her husband, she is survived by three children, Howard of Ottumwa, Donald of Knoxville and Doris at home, three sisters Mrs. Nettie Matteson of Wever. Mrs. Rebecca Staff of Burlington, and Mrs. Stella Anderson of Ft. Madison; a brother, Ben Osborn, of Burlington, and two grandchildren. Short funeral services will be at 1:15 p.m. Saturday at the Johnson funeral chapel and at 2 p.m. in the Munterville Lutheran church, conducted by the Rev. Malvin H. Lundeen and the Rev. J.G. Swedberg. Burial will be in Munterville cemetery.
