Mrs. Clarecy Hamilton, 82, of 408 South Ransom street, died at the county hospital Friday at 7:20 p.m. She was the daughter of Thomas and Lydia Randolph born in Davis county, April 10, 1859. She lived in Ottumwa for the past 36 years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jennie Overturf, Ottumwa, and Mrs. Grace Davis of Michigan; 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; three brothers, Jasper Randolph, Hollbrock, Nebraska, Milton Randolph, Drakesville, and Thomas Randolph, Arapahoe Nebraska, four sisters, Mrs. Mary Coy, Bloomfield, Mrs. Lydia Creamer, Ottumwa, Mrs. Dorn Judd, McCook, Nebraska and Mrs. Stella Clendenen, Milton. She was preceded in death by her husband John William, March 22, 1941, and by a son and three sisters. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. the Johnson chapel, conducted the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be in the Shaul cemetery.
