Mrs. Russell Sasseen, 29, of Packwood, died at the Ottumwa hospital at 9:07 a.m. today, after an illness of four years. She had been in the hospital 10 days. She was born Adoris McBurney, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.N. McBurney, August 17, 1912, in Freemont. Surviving are her husband, her parents who now live in Abingdon, two daughters Joyce and Janet at home and a sister Mrs. Orval Graham of Packwood. A sister preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Methodist church in Packwood in charge of the Rev. C.W. Richardson of Burlington, assisted by the Rev. Roy Sturgell. Burial will be in the Packwood cemetery. The body will be taken from the Community Funeral services parlors in Ottumwa to the Austin Sasseen home at Packwood at 3 p.m.
