Widow Of Dr. D.H. Kincaid Is Dead

Mrs. Nellie A. Kincaid widow of the late Dr. D.H. Kincaid died at her home, 302 Williams street, at 12:45 a.m. Sunday. She was born in Jasper county July 27, 1869, the daughter of Joseph K. and Sarah Jane Jones. She had been a resident of Ottumwa for 42 years, and was a member of the Davis Street Christian church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Samuel O. Erhardt, Ottumwa; Naomi Kincaid, Sioux City, and Mrs. T.D. Somerville, Bedford, Indiana; a son, Harvey of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Olive Wagner, Des Moines; Mrs. James T. Pound, Boone, and Mrs. Irene Hise of Orange City, California and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were to be at 4 p.m. today at the Davis Street Christian church, in charge of the Rev. L.R. Putnam. Burial was in the Shaul cemetery. Pallbearers were Carl Leinhauser, A.L. Ross, C.E. Matthew, Ira F. Downing, George Mundell and Emery Proctor.
