Mrs. John Hochreiter, 80, three miles north of Agency, died at her home at 7:40 p.m. Tuesday. She had been in failing health for several years. She was the wife of the late John Hochreiter, who preceded her in death November 29, 1940. She is survived by a son Ed at home, as sister, Mrs. W.C. Wilhite of Hale Center, Texas and a brother, John Trimble of Slater, Missouri. Mrs. Hochreiter was born in Chillicothe, Ohio, but came to Iowa 73 years ago. She had lived in the Agency community for 37 years. The body is at the Community Funeral Service parlors, pending the completion of funeral arrangements. Funeral services for Mrs. John Hochreiter, who died Tuesday, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday from the Methodist church in Agency, in charge of the Rev. Merton B. Wyatt. Burial will be in the Agency cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dwight Anderson, Charles and Ronald Johnson, Lowell Giltner and Lee and Lloyd Adamson. The body will be taken from the Community Funeral Services parlors in Ottumwa to the church at 9:30 a.m. Friday.
