Albert E. Anderson, 59, of Belknap route 1, died at the Ottumwa hospital at 12:30 p.m. today. A retired farmer, he had been in failing health for four years. Surviving are his wife, Sadie; four children Everett of Agency, Etta M. Beckman of Burlington, and Wayne, Frank and Glenn of Ottumwa; five stepchildren, Mrs. Willa Chilcote, Leighton, Mrs. Marguerite Clark, Lovilla, Jay Edwards, Beacon, Mrs. Cleora Ward, Memphis, Missouri, and Thomas Edwards, Ottumwa. He had lived in or near Ottumwa for 50 years. The funeral of Albert E. Anderson, Belknap route 1 who died Tuesday, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Community Funeral service chapel in charge of the Rev. Lawrence Hight and Mrs. Hight of Chillicothe. Burial will be in Pleasant Corners cemetery near Eddyville. Sons will be pallbearers.
