Goodyear Budget Manager Here Dies
James Harvey Hillcary, 48, budget manager for Goodyear Service Co. in Ottumwa, died at his home 132 South Cooper avenue at 9:15 p.m. Sunday, after two days of serious illness. He formerly lived in the Oskaloosa community, but came to Ottumwa 10 years ago. He worked for the Bennett Tire co. and later for the Goodyear store. Surviving are his wife, Esther, two sons, Jack of Albuquerque, N.M. and Harry in California, two daughters, Joyce and Donna at home, his mother an step-father Mr. and Mrs. John Lloyd of Oskaloosa, and a half brother, Don Lloyd of Oskaloosa. Funeral services for James Harvey Hillcary, 46, of 132 South Cooper avenue, who died Sunday evening, will be held from the Community Funeral service parlors at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, and from the Wilcox-Garland, funeral chapel in Oskaloosa at 2 p.m. the Rev. George T. Hubbard of the East End Presbyterian church will be in charge. Burial will be in the Forrest cemetery at Oskaloosa. Mr. Hillcary was budget manager of the Goodyear store in Ottumwa.
