Mrs. Barton, 82, Dies Early Today
Mrs. Nancy Jane Barton, 82, of 2409 East Main street, died at her home at 1:15 a.m. today. She was the wife of the late Lee W. Barton, who preceded her in death in 1925. Mrs. Barton was born in Davis county, the daughter of Elizabeth and William Ware. She was a member of the East End Presbyterian church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Fred C. Galey, Ottumwa; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Carroll Reece funeral home, with the Rev. George T. Hubbard in charge. Burial will be in the Ottumwa cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Starnes, Ray Galey, Merle Galey, Harold Haw, Paul Celania and Fred Galey.
