Francis M. Lee, 79, 433 West Second street, died at noon today at the Wapello county hospital. Where he had been a patient the last few days. He was born November 23 1862, in Ohio and is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lester Smith of Ottumwa route 6, Mrs. Roscoe Pugh of Springfield, Illinois, Mrs. Jay Craig of Fairfield, Mrs. Lester Wilson of Bonaparte; two sons Raymond of Alaska and Weldon of Keosauqua; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The body is at the Lester Jay funeral home.

Funeral services for Francis M. Lee who died Thursday at the county hospital, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Lester Jay funeral home, in charge of the Rev. J.B. Johnson of the Wesley Methodist church. Burial will be in the Troy cemetery near Troy.
