Frank C. Potter, 66 a retired farmer, died at the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Charlotte Potter, six miles southwest of Ottumwa on route 4, at 4 p.m. Saturday. He had been in failing health for several months. He formerly lived in Kewanee, Illinois, but had made his home near Ottumwa for three months. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Happy Farson, Indianapolis; two brothers, Lynn of Belore, Ohio and C.H. Potter of Davenport, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Community funeral service chapel at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Mr. Cunningham of Blakesburg Methodist church in charge. Burial will be in the Brooks cemetery. Pallbearers will be Forrest Black, Ralph Black, Walter Green, Leo Glentzer, Melvin Dickson and Orville Johnston.
