Valeta Mae Orman, 12, daughter of Mrs. A.D. Chance Ottumwa route 2, died at the Ottumwa hospital Saturday at 8 p.m. She was a student at the Ormanville school and attended the Ormanville church Sunday school. Surviving are her mother, three brothers, Robert Lee, Carol Eugene and Harold Franklin Orman all at home, and one sister Annis Dell Orman, at home and her grandfather, Charles Randall, Ottumwa route 2. She was preceded in death by her father, Harley Orman. Short services were held today at 1:30 a.m. at the Johnson funeral chapel and at 2:30 p.m. at the Ormanville church. the Rev. Charles E. McDowell of the Fundamentalist Baptist church was in charge. Burial was in the Ormanville cemetery.
