Ray Eugene Carruthers, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Carruthers, Ottumwa route 5, died Friday evening at the Ottumwa hospital. Surviving are his parents, two sisters, Catherine Jean and Sandonna May, both at home, and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Carruthers and Mr. and Mrs. William Townsend of Ottumwa. Services were held at 1:30 p.m. today at the grave in the Memorial Lawn cemetery, in charge of the Rev. L.C. Snyder of the West End Presbyterian church.
