Mrs. Susan Harris, 82, was found dead at her home, 618 West Mechanic street, at 9:30 a.m. today. She is survived by one son, Forest of Ottumwa, and was preceded in death by her husband John F. Harris, and one daughter. She was a member of the Mt. Zion A.M.E. church and the Esther chapter No. 4 Order of Eastern Star. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the Lester Jay funeral home, conducted by the Rev. A.J. Irvine pastor of the Mr. Zion church. Interment will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
