Pioneer Resident Dies At Age Of 81
Aaron C. Wyatt Was Born In Ormanville.
Aaron C. Wyatt 81, pioneer resident of this area, died at 10:30 a.m. today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Myrtle DeWinter, 1725 West Main street. He was the son of Edmond and Zylphia Wyatt and was born at Ormanville August 12, 1859. He had lived in Ottumwa the past 24 years. Survivors include the daughter, Mrs. DeWinter; two sons, Edmond Wyatt of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Thane Wyatt of Kansas City, Missouri; six grandchildren and a brother Willoughby Wyatt of Ottumwa. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Johnson's funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be in the Moravia cemetery at Moravia.
