Phil Martin 68, died at 7 p.m. Thursday at his home 323 1/2 East Main street. He was born February 17, at Lexington, Missouri and was a resident of Ottumwa since 1912. He was the son of Phillip and Polly Martin. Mr. Martin operated a small farm near Ottumwa until a few years ago. He is survived by his wife, Jennie and one son Phillip. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Johnson's funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
