Miss Rena Harman, 59 died at 8:30 a.m. today in Sunnyslope sanatorium. The daughter of Harve and Alice Harman, she was born in Pleasant township, May 5, 1882. She was graduated from the Agency high school in 1902, and came to Ottumwa shortly after. For a number of years she was employed as a saleswoman in various local ready-to-wear shops. Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Alice Harman, Ottumwa, and a niece, Mrs. Vera Infelt, Beatrice, Nebraska. A sister preceded her in death. The body is at the Lester Jay funeral home, pending completion of arrangements for services , upon the arrival of Mrs. Infelt. Funeral service for Miss Rena Harman, who died Thursday morning at Sunnyslope sanatorium will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Lester Jay funeral home, conducted by the Rev. C.R. Reed, pastor of Willard Street Methodist church. Interment will be in Agency cemetery.
