32-Year Resident Of Ottumwa Dies
Mrs. Mary Ursula Sueppel Mottet, 86, died Wednesday at 2 p.m. in her home, 318 North Sheridan avenue. She was the daughter of John and Barbara Sueppel and was born in Erie, PA, coming to Ottumwa 32 years ago. Surviving are daughters, Miss Anna Mottet, Mrs. Emma Stoessel and Mrs. Marguerite Buchanan of Ottumwa. Mrs. Helen Tressel of Burlington and Mrs. Marie Haywood of West Des Moines; sons John, Clarence and William Motter of Ottumwa; 22 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be Saturday at 8:20 a.m. in the home and at 9 a.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic church, where requiem high mass will be celebrated by the Rev. R.C. Donohoe, pastor. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Servers of the mass will be three grandchildren, Raymond, Edward and Francis Mottet. Members of St. Patrick's church will meet at the home Friday at 8 p.m. to recite the rosary. Pallbearers will be six grandsons, Wilbert, Jack and Robert Mottet and Donald, William and Francis Stoessel.
