Wade P. Fulton Dies At Age Of 77
Wade Payton Fulton,77 died Tuesday at 9 a.m. at his home 313 West Williams street, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Fulton was born April 25 1863, at Washington Iowa. He was a member of I.O.O.F. No. 9. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Max Bergan of Des Moines, Mrs. Jack Rishel, Jr. of Detroit Michigan, Mrs. M.G. Swords of Cedar Rapids, Miss Francis Fulton of Chicago and Mrs. Clyde W. Jones and Mrs. Opal Smith of Ottumwa, and a brother D.H. Fulton of Ottumwa. He was preceded in death by his wife and a son Frankie. Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Lester Jay funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Charles E. McDowell, pastor of the Fundamentalist Baptist church, assisted by the Rev. Harold Lancaster, pastor of the First Methodist church. Burial will be in the Shaul cemetery. Pallbearers will be members of the I.O.O.F. lodge.
