Mrs. John Phillips, 81 died Wednesday at 2:05 p.m. at the home of her daughter Mrs. William Wells, Florence street and Tacoma avenue. Mrs. Phillips had been in poor health for four years. Surviving are four daughters; Mrs. Charles Adams of Keswick, Mrs. Harry Harper of Wilton Junction, Mrs. Harry Fowler of Rose Hill and Mrs. Wells; Son James of Delta, Logan of Walnut Grove and Earl of Olin; 28 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Her husband died in 193. Shout service will be held Friday noon at the Wells home and at 2 p.m. in the Rose Hill church. Burial will be in the Rose Hill cemetery. Grandsons will act as pallbearers.
