Services for Samuel N. Howard 72 year-old Ottumwan who was burned fatally in a barn fire at his home, 1844 West Chester avenue, Monday afternoon, will be held at Johnson's funeral chapel Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., conducted by the Rev. J.B. Johnson pastor of the Wesley Methodist church. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery. Mr. Howard a resident of Ottumwa for the last 51 years was the son of William and Susan Howard. Surviving are his wife; sons, Orville of Ottumwa and Gerald of Algona, and three grandchildren, Darlene and Jack of Ottumwa and Donald Eugene of Algona. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Delta Mae Howard.
