Mrs. Martha Smith, 77 former Ottumwan, died Monday morning at Pittsburg PA. in the home of her niece, Mrs. Grace Canfield. Mrs. Smith was the widow of Daniel Smith and while in Ottumwa was an active member of the Wesley Methodist church. She had been in Pittsburgh for a brief period. The body will arrive here today at 5:30 p.m. and will be taken to the Carroll Reece funeral home. Services for Mrs. Martha Smith who died Monday at Pittsburgh PA will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Carroll Reece funeral home, conducted by the Rev. J.B. Johnson, pastor of the Wesley Methodist church. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. Pallbearers will be Elmer Adkins, William Byrum, Will Bruchman, Elzie Mitchell, C.A. McHenry and H.R. Parker.
