Ellen E. Johnson

After an illness of some length from typhoid and pneumonia, Ellen Elizabeth Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Axel F. Johnson, 1009 East Fourth street, at the age of 15 years, died at home at 3:45 a.m. The decedent was a young girl of sweet disposition much loved by all that knew her and was ever active in the affairs of her church, The Swedish Congregational. She was a member of the Sunday school, the Young People's Society and sung in the choir. Those of her family who survive, her parents, sisters Martha, Ruth and Madeline and two brothers Fred and Russell.

The funeral will be held from the residence at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday to the Swedish Congregational church where at 2 o'clock a service will be conducted by the pastor assisted by Dr. F.F. Stoltz. Interment will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
