JOHN P. WIND

John P. Wind, a former business man of Birmingham, passed away, at his home in Eldon, Iowa, Sept. 24, 1941, after being in failing health for two years. He was born in Germany, February 24, 1881 and was 60 years of age. He was married to Miss Jessie Hester in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, August 10, 1904, who survives him. Two infant daughters preceded him in death. He was the proprietor of a restaurant when in Birmingham, and moved to Eldon from here 23 years ago, and has been in the same business, until last spring when he sold out. He was of a quiet, jovial disposition, well liked by everyone. Funeral services and burial was in Eldon.
