Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” December 2, 1950:

Mrs. Minnie Richardson, 71, of 1515 Chester avenue, died today at 4 a.m. at Margaret’s Guest Home, 134 South Willard street.

The daughter of James and Malinda Baggs, she was born January 8, 1879, in Seymour. Her marriage to Charles P. Richardson took place May 4, 1902. The last of her family, Mrs. Richardson has been a resident of Ottumwa for the past 50 years.

Her husband preceded her in death February 17, 1932.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Johnson funeral chapel in charge of Dr. Malvin H. Lundeen, pastor of the First Lutheran church. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
