Mrs. Maude C. Tomlin 77; formerly of 415 S. Moore died today at 5:30 a.m. at the Wapello County Home.

She was born June 2, 1894 on Appanoose County; the daughter of Cain and June Clancy Colson. She had been a resident of Ottumwa since 1941.

She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She married Charles M. Tomlin in 1941 in Missouri; he survives. Also surviving are two step sons; John M. Tomlin of Ottumwa and Ralph M. Tomlin of Salt Lake City, Utah; two stepdaughters; Mrs. Irene Wagner and Mrs. Nellie Garrison; both of Ottumwa; seven step grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by two sisters. Funeral services are pending at Johnson Funeral Home.

TAMLIN SERVICES
Funeral services for Mrs. Maude C. Tomlin 77; formerly of 415 S. Moore who died Tuesday at 5:50 a.m. at the Wapello County Home will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Maynard Nutting officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

The casket will remain at Johnson Funeral Home until Friday at 11 a.m. when it will be taken to the church.
