Dillon, 66, Loses Life

HEDRICK - Everett N. Dillon, 66, of Hedrick was killed instantly Monday morning in a tractor accident at his farm in the Hedrick-Martinsburg area.

The accident happened at 7:05 a.m. Ottumwa law authorites said Dillon was trying to start a tractor in a machine shed. The Fremont Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. A memorial fund has been established by the family. The casket will remain closed. The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
