Mrs. Jacobs Rites Today

ELDON - Funeral services were held this morning at St. Aloysius Catholic Church for Mrs. Emily Jacobs, 80, of Eldon. She passed away Wednesday at the Kirk Nursing Home in Agency where she had been in failing health the past six months. Rev. E. William Kaska officiated with burial in Eldon cemetery.

Mrs. Jacobs was born February 26, 1897 at East Pleasant Plain, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Mineart. She taught many years in rural schools and until recently wrote a newspaper column "Profiles of a Christian" for the Eldon Forum.

She was married Nov. 20, 1920 to Ernest Jacobs. He survives as do seven grandchildren.
