MRS. ORVILLE WILLIAMS

Mrs. Esta M. Williams, 74, of 828 Lee Ave. died at 5 a.m. today at her home following a short illness.

She was the daughter of Grant and Nellie Proux Huntoon and was born in Illinois March 26, 1890. She had been a resident of Ottumwa for the past 35 years.

She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her marriage to Orville S. Williams took place Sept. 23, 1915 at Springfield, Ill. He preceded her in death March 14, 1952.

Surviving are six sons, Jess of Washington, Harold of Topsham, Maine, John of Monterey, Calif., Robert of Fort Atkinson, Wis., Howard of Imlay City, Mich., and Charles of Kansas City, Mo., Two daughters, Mrs. Philura Woten of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Mildred Erb of Arvada, Colo.; 40 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one brother, Arthur Huntoon of Ottumwa and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Gowin of Stow, Ohio and Mrs. Mattie Marsh of Springfield, Ohio.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one son, Francis, and one sister.

The body is at Johnson Funeral Home.
