Local woman's brother dies

Kenneth Harvey Tuller, 66, Ottumwa, brother of Viola Frakes, 902 W. Grimes, died Thursday at Ottumwa Hospital. He had been in failing health for 16 years.

The service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Memorial Lawn Shrine with buiral in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Ottumwa.

Tuller was born July 4, 1912 at Eagle Bend, Minn., the son of Charles and Mary Elizabeth Stansell Tuller. He had resided n Ottumwa for 40 years.

He was married to Helen Lavina Young on May 1, 1937. She survives. He served with the U.S. Navy on Guam during World War II and was a welder and pipe fitter by trade.

He is also survived by four sons, Robert Tuller and Richard Tuller, Fort Worth, Texas, Patrick Tuller, Savannah, Ill., Michael Tuller, Ottumwa; two daughters, Nancy Martin and Diane Palmer, both of Ottumwa.

Six brothers, Harry Tuller and Elbert Tuller, Kansas City, Mo., Orval Tuller, Des Moines, Lloyd Tuller, Festus, Mo., Everett Tuller, Portland, Ore., and Harold Tuller, Seattle, Wash.; four sisters, Adaline Tope, Gassaway, W.Va., Irene Patteson, Seattle, Wash., Viola Frakes, Fairfield and Inez Johnson, Bradford, Ill., eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.
